Dear nephew I received your

Kind and welcome letter and was

glad to hear from you and the family

We are all well but going a long

Bad enough times is very hard

Out here I want you to write and

Tell me where they all live and

What they are doing there is

A railroad running to Marion the

County site of this Co is seven

Miles of my farm there is a good

County corn is worth 50 cts a bu

Wheat is worth 90 cts per bu bacon

(10) cts per lb horses and good mules

is good price common stock is low

write and tell me what good mules

is worth maby I will bring some one

there if they are better prices than they

are here Harlow family is all well

and getting ---- along very well

an he has got a good start. I have got

only – four children with me now

two girls and two boys Georgia

is 20 and Laura 16 and the boys are

12 and 9 –years old write to the girls

and they will write to you I hardly

ever write any I cant see how to write much
